Maggy Aston earned her B.F.A. from Maryland Institute in Baltimore, MD and her M.F.A. in printmaking from West Virginia University. She currently lives on the banks of the Monongahela River in a small rural town south of Pittsburgh, PA. There she maintains a studio and printshop, garden, and antiquarian bookshop which she operates with her husband and daughter. She teaches drawing and design full-time at California University of Pennsylvania, and spends her summers painting on the beaches of Assateague Island, VA.
